Gecko
Gecko is a female-led kickass alt-rock trio, blending together fundamentals of punk, rock and jazz to create their unique sound.
Drawing inspiration from their own musical influences and time studying jazz at Monash University, the band explores each-others’ odd experiences and chaotic energy in their songwriting and blends punky and velvety vocals alongside punchy riffs and catchy melodies.
Beneath their sometimes intense and always captivating performances, Gecko is, beneath it all, quirky and fun. Their latest EP '80' features their 'Geckified' spin on well-loved 80s hits following their previous psychedelic and experimental release 'Over Now'.
Set up
We are a trio of drum kit, electric bass, electric guitar and each on vox. We only perform as a trio and need a PA setup.
